Ingredients

Scale

8 oz Penne or rigatoni pasta
1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
1/2 cup Heavy cream
1 tsp Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the cubed chicken breast with salt and pepper.
Sauté the chicken in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 6 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium-low and pour the buffalo sauce into the pan with the chicken.
Stir in the heavy cream and garlic powder until the sauce thickens into a creamy glaze.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat everything evenly.

Notes

Choose a vinegar-forward buffalo sauce for the best flavor profile. Heavy cream can be swapped for half-and-half for a slightly lighter texture. This dish reheats well for next-day lunches.
